Human Rights

Fundamental Approach

The Nittobo Group is committed to the recognition that fulfilment of respect for human rights is an important corporate social responsibility. The Company supports international agreements such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and is resolute in its respect for human rights in all its business activities.

Initiatives for Respect for Human Rights

The Nittobo Group requires its officers and employees to comply with international norms, local laws and regulations regarding respect for human rights in the countries and regions where we do business. They must also refrain from any kind of harassment that violates rights; unfairly discriminates against any person in regard to human rights, ethnicity, nationality, language, religion, ideology, creed, social status, age, gender, educational background, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation, or any other reason; or that gives offense to individual dignity. In addition, we do not engage in child labor or forced labor for children who are not of working age as defined by the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which we operate.
We provide appropriate training to all employees in order to disseminate these concepts.
