External Evaluation
Fundamental Approach
Nittobo sustainability initiatives aimed at “contributing to the realization of prosperous communities” have received the following recognition from external organizations.
CDP
Nittobo responded to the CDP* "Climate Change Program" for the first time in 2022 and received a "B" score.
We are currently at the management level (B, B-), but in the future we will aim for leadership level (A, A-) and strengthen our efforts on climate change.
- *CDP is a non-profit organization (NPO) managed by a British charity that evaluates climate change, forest and water security initiatives of more than 15,000 companies worldwide. Evaluations are graded on eight levels: leadership level (A, A-), management level (B, B-), awareness level (C, C-), and disclosure level (D, D-) based on responses to questions on a wide range of items, including governance, risk management, business strategy, goals and performance, and engagement.
EcoVadis
Nittobo has received a Silver Medal for two consecutive years for its results in the sustainability survey of EcoVadis (head office: France). The medal is in recognition of placing within the top 25% of the approximately 90,000 companies evaluated by the survey.
