Recognizing that biodiversity is essential for a sustainable society, the Nittobo Group endeavors to preserve biodiversity and to contribute to society through the development and diffusion of products and technologies that help to preserve biodiversity.
- We will consider the impact of our business activities on biodiversity and make efforts toward the preservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
- We will consider the impact on biodiversity in the supply chain and endeavor to coexist with nature.
- We will endeavor to develop eco-conscious products and technologies and contribute to the preservation of biodiversity through their supply and diffusion.

Participation in Cleanup Activities for the Preservation of Biodiversity
The Nittobo Group is promoting the preservation of biodiversity through social contribution activities.
As a member of the local community, the Fukushima Factory participates in a large-scale cleanup campaign along the Arakawa river, a clear waterway flowing through the city of Fukushima. The Fukushima No. 2 Factory, meanwhile, implements the cleanup of a neighboring waterway, together with local residents, and strives to protect the aquatic life there.

Promotion of Sustainable Procurement to Preserve the Global Environment
In consideration of global environmental preservation, the Nittobo Group promotes sustainable procurement, including the procurement of raw materials and auxiliary materials.
Furthermore, we request our suppliers also to understand the impact of their business activities on biodiversity and conduct business activities and social contribution activities that take preservation of the natural environment into consideration.
Donations to the Keidanren Nature Conservation Fund
As a member company of Keidanren (Japan Business Federation), we agree with the purpose of the Keidanren Nature Conservation Fund project, lend our support as a company to nature conservation activities, and, from the perspective of social contributions, make annual donations to the fund.
