Nittobo's Lexnet™ (glass fiber net), which is used for insect screen, excels in heat resistance and dimensional stability.
Lexnet™ is an insect screen product produced by heat-setting cloth woven with PVC-coated glass yarn to prevent misalignment. Wire (such as stainless steel or aluminum) or synthetic fiber (such as polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene) nets are also used for screen doors, but Lexnet™ is characterized by its high strength, dimensional stability, heat resistance, and nonflammability---all distinguishing features of glass fiber---and in addition, it is corrosion-resistant and weatherproof thanks to its PVC coating. The product is extremely easy to install because it is free from slackness, frays, and curls.

Features of Lexnet™
Heat resistance
Lexnet is heat-resistant because it is based on nonflammable glass fiber.
Dimensional stability
Because it does not stretch or shrink due to temperature changes, the dimensions of Lexnet remain constant, and Lexnet does not distort the window frame as synthetic fiber nets do.
In addition, it does not fray or misalign because it is sealed.
