Nittobo's Text Glass™, which has a special weaving structure to produce the maximum strength per unit and provides excellent moldability to fit even complicated curved surfaces without fail, acquired certification for the Boeing standard 9-3 (glass cloth to reinforce laminated plastic products) back in 1980. Its aramid cloth is also used as structural materials for Boeing aircraft. Nittobo boasts the largest production of Text Glass™ and aramid cloth for aircraft in Japan.
