Plant-Derived Carbon Neutral Material: PlaX™ Interlining (Under Development)
Nittobo Advantex, in joint development with Bioworks Corporation, proposes a sustainable interlining that utilizes the next-generation plant-derived synthetic fiber PlaX™.

Nittobo Advantex, in joint development with Bioworks Corporation, proposes a sustainable interlining that utilizes the next-generation plant-derived synthetic fiber PlaX™.

PlaX™ is a novel carbon neutral material with improved quality and function, comprised of bioplastic Polylactic Acid (PLA), a plant-derived material such as sugarcane, and additives exclusively developed by Bioworks. PlaX™ single-handedly overcomes issues that hindered PLA’s possibility into fashion industry, such as poor durability, heat resistance, fiber dyeing during the manufacturing process.
PlaX™ can be biodegradable and recycled under appropriate conditions.
*The rate and conditions of biodegradation vary depending on the usage environment and product composition.
