Preserving the Oceans for the Next Generations: Sustainable Interlining

Nittobo Advantex is promoting initiatives to reduce marine microplastics derived from textiles through manufacturing process and washing at home. As part of this effort, we have developed a sustainable interlining aimed at contributing to the protection of the marine environment.

Product Features

Fiber Made from Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP)
We incorporate #tide—a material made by recycling Ocean Bound Plastic collected from coastlines that could otherwise cause marine pollution—into a portion of our raw materials.

Balancing Quality and Environmental Responsibility
Even while using recycled raw materials, our accumulated technology ensures that we maintain quality and functionality comparable to conventional interlinings.

Sustainable Product Design
By actively incorporating materials that protect the oceans, we support the enhancement of the overall added value of apparel products and the realization of a sustainable society.

What is the Less Micro Plastic Project?

This is a project aimed at curbing environmental pollution caused by microplastics generated from textile products. Through the development and widespread adoption of products that suppress microplastic generation, the project engages in activities to protect our rich marine environment.
