Nittobo's cut fiber (PF) consists of powdered glass fiber. Filling resin with the product is expected to produce such effects as dimensional stability, crack resistance, surface modifiability, and improved heat resistance.
Nittobo's cut fiber (SS) comprises glass fiber cut to an aspect ratio of 10–50, which is halfway between those of chopped strands and cut fiber (PF). The product is dissolved to form almost 100% monofilament fibers.
