Environmental auditing

To increase the level of environmental management at each plant, internal environmental auditing is being carried out jointly by the Central Environmental Protection Committee and the Auditing Department. The results of the environmental audit are reported to all the plants, with the aim of the exchange of information.

Group Environmental Protection Conference

The Nittobo plants and the Group companies periodically hold Group Environmental Protection Committee meetings. Lively discussion is undertaken at these conferences with regard to the urgent task of energy conservation promotion for the prevention of global warming.

Environmental assessment

Environmental assessment is undertaken when equipment is being newly-installed or updated, with environmental aspects taken into consideration.
